Channukah Candle Lighting

As this is the 5th night of Chanukah, there will be a candle lighting in the Beren Event Center, led by the Rabbi Baruch Hertz and Rabbi Yochanan Posner

Baruch atah, Adonai Eloheinu, Melech haolam, asher kid’shanu b’mitzvotav v’tsivanu l’hadlik ner shel Hanukkah.

Blessed are You, Lord our God, King of the universe, who has sanctified us with His commandments, and commanded us to kindle the Chanukah light.

Baruch atah, Adonai Eloheinu, Melech haolam, she-asah nisim laavoteinu v’imoteinu bayamim hahaeim baz’man hazeh.

Blessed are You, Lord our God, King of the universe, who performed miracles for our forefathers in those days, at this time.

We just want to remind everyone that, though the communal candle lighting is a fun reminder of the holiday, the obligation is to light in the place you are “living”, with your family.

Afterwards, please enjoy the reception.
